The Halls Prolific Japanese Honeysuckle is a gorgeous, semi-evergreen (may loose leaves in colder/exposed areas), vigorous, twining climber which is ideal for the informal cottage or wildlife garden, bears the traditional fragrant honeysuckle tubular flowers, which are pure white to yellow, giving this climber a stunning, two-tone affect. The flowers are highly scented, and last from late spring into early autumn, providing colour all through the summer. To really enjoy these beautiful flowers, grow against a wall near the window or up a porch, or even over a pergola. A great climber for scrambling through shrubs or up trees or just on a trellis. Bears dark-green, ovate foliage and may produce black berries after a hot summer, which is attractive to birds.
