Your trees are delivered root-wrapped in moist compost, ensuring they arrive nursery-fresh and ready to plant. If you can’t plant immediately, they’ll stay fresh for several days or weeks in a cool, shaded place.
Soak the roots (still wrapped or unwrapped) in a bucket of water for 1–2 hours before planting.
Dig a hole large enough to comfortably spread the roots, ensuring the tree’s base sits level with the surrounding soil.
Backfill with soil, firm gently, and water thoroughly.
Stake if needed, particularly in exposed or windy areas.
Mulch around the base (avoiding direct contact with the trunk) to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
