Product Description

2 × Mixed Berry Fruit Plants – Loganberry & Japanese Wineberry

2–3 Litre Pots | By Direct Plants

Our Mixed Berry Fruit Plant Collection is perfect for gardeners looking to grow two unique, flavour-packed berries with excellent results. All plants are supplied potted, meaning they are already established with strong, healthy root systems, giving them a higher success rate and quicker establishment than bare-root plants.

Berries are a true super fruit, packed with antioxidants and vitamins, and growing your own means you can enjoy fresh, intense flavour straight from the garden. This carefully selected collection includes two standout berry varieties that bring colour, flavour, and a touch of the exotic to your garden.

Supplied in 2–3 litre pots, these plants are ready to plant straight away into borders, raised beds, or large containers.

Included Varieties (1 of each)

  • Loganberry – Hybrid Berry (Blackberry × Raspberry)
A classic hybrid producing large, tangy-sweet berries with a rich, complex flavour. Fruits in mid to late summer and is perfect for fresh eating, jams, and desserts. Loganberries are known for their vigorous growth and generous cropping.
  • Japanese Wineberry – Rubus phoenicolasius
An exciting, ornamental berry producing bright red, shiny fruits with a sweet-tart flavour. Fruits in late summer and are excellent for fresh eating or preserves. Wineberries are also visually striking, with attractive foliage and stems.

Planting & Care

Berry plants prefer a sunny or partially shaded position in well-drained, fertile soil. They are well suited to planting in the ground, raised beds, or large containers.

Water well after planting and regularly during dry periods, particularly during the first growing season and while fruiting. A mulch of compost or well-rotted manure in spring will help retain moisture and improve soil fertility.

Support is recommended for Loganberries, as they can grow vigorously. Tie in canes to a trellis or wires to keep plants neat and manageable. Wineberries can also benefit from support but are generally easier to manage.

Prune after fruiting by removing canes that have produced fruit to encourage strong new growth and higher yields in the following season.

Why choose potted berry plants?

  • Faster establishment and improved success rate
