6 × Mixed Potted Blackberry Fruit Plants – 6 Varieties in 2 Litre Pots

By Direct Plants

Our Mixed Potted Blackberry Collection is perfect for gardeners looking to grow heavy-cropping, flavour-packed blackberries at home. All plants are supplied potted, meaning they are already established with strong, developed root systems, giving them a higher success rate and faster establishment compared to bare-root plants.

Blackberries are a nutritious super fruit, rich in antioxidants and vitamins, and home-grown fruit delivers superior flavour and freshness. This carefully selected collection includes 6 popular blackberry varieties, chosen from some of Direct Plants’ favourites for productivity, flavour, and garden performance.

Supplied in 2 litre pots, these plants are ready to plant straight away into borders, raised beds, or large containers.

Included Varieties (1 of each)

  • Loch Ness – Thornless

Planting & Care

Blackberry plants prefer a sunny position in well-drained, fertile soil but will tolerate light shade. They can be planted in the ground, raised beds, or large containers, and benefit from support such as wires, trellis, or fencing.

Water well after planting and regularly during dry spells, particularly during the first growing season and while fruiting. Apply a mulch of compost or well-rotted manure in spring to conserve moisture and improve soil fertility.

Pruning is straightforward: remove old canes that have fruited after harvesting to encourage strong new growth for the following year. Tie in new canes to supports as they grow.

Why choose potted blackberry plants?

  • Established plants with strong root systems

  • Faster establishment and improved success rate

  • Ready to plant on arrival
