Chester Thornless is another wonderful blackberry for any garden, patio or allotment. Has attractive dark green leaves which turn a fiery red colour in Autumn. Gorgeous saucer-shaped, white flowers are borne in early summer turning into juicy medium-sized Blackberry's in mid-late summer. Chester is a fully thornless variety with smooth stems, which makes them very easy to pick. Plant in full sun or partial shade and will tolerate most soil types. Can grow to height of approx 4-5ft, however can be pruned to your desired height. Ideal for the smaller gardens or pots. Can also be planted in groups of 3 to acheive bumper crops.
