Although still fairly new to the UK, honeyberry bushes are becoming steadily more popular with British gardeners. The plant is also sometimes known as the blue honeysuckle. It's a very hardy plant perfectly suited to the UK climate. It's very easy to grow and is ideal for the garden or allotment. Honeyberry bushes produce masses of bright blue berries, similar to the blueberry, but they have a distinctive honey flavour. The fruit is very high in vitamins and antioxidants and make wonderful jam or jelly. For best results plant your honeyberry bushes in small groups of three or five plants.
