Golden King is an excellent holly bush, bearing lush dark-green, smooth leaves with golden margins. Although its name suggests male, Golden King is in fact a female, self-fertile shrub, producing small white flowers during the summer, followed by clusters of bright-red berries during the winter. It can grow in full sun or shade and will tolerate a wide variety of soils. Can grow into a small tree if left un-pruned, growing approx 10ft+ tall, but can easily be trimmed to the size and height you like. The berries provide a source of food for birds during the winter months. You will receive 1 very healthy large plant growing in a 3 litre pot and is approx 4ft tall.
