A stunning rare variety of this hardy shrub. Similar to other varieties of purple leaf sambucus, however grows in a uniformed upright growth habit, hence the name Tower. Produces Pink Flower in early summer amongst deep purple foliage. A striking unusual plant but fully hardy. Can be also container grown on patio or decking, grows to approx 5-6ft tall when mature.
