Pyracantha ‘Soleil d’Or’, commonly known as Firethorn, is an attractive evergreen security hedging plant, supplied here as a collection of 12 large plants approximately 2–3ft tall in individual 9cm pots. With their excellent height, dense thorny growth and colourful berries, they are ideal for creating attractive boundaries, screening, and naturally defensive hedging.
‘Soleil d’Or’ produces glossy green evergreen foliage throughout the year, complemented by clusters of white flowers in late spring and early summer. These are followed by masses of distinctive golden-yellow berries during autumn and winter, providing a bright seasonal display and valuable interest when many other garden plants have finished flowering.
