Green Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is one of the most popular traditional hedging plants, supplied here as a collection of 6 established trees approximately 50–60cm tall in individual 2/3 litre pots. With its fresh green foliage, dense growing habit and excellent seasonal colour, it is ideal for creating attractive garden boundaries, screening, and structured hedging.
Green Beech produces beautiful fresh green leaves during spring and summer before developing warm copper and golden-brown shades in autumn. Although deciduous, established Beech hedges will often retain much of their dried foliage through winter, helping to provide valuable screening and structure until fresh new growth appears in spring.
Supplied as established potted plants with developed root systems, these Beech trees offer an excellent head start compared with smaller bare-root hedging. They respond particularly well to regular trimming and can be maintained as a neat formal hedge or allowed to develop into a taller natural boundary.
