Ilex ‘Argentea Marginata’ is a handsome variegated evergreen Holly, supplied as an impressive XL approximately 4–5ft tall established plant in a substantial 5 litre pot. At this excellent size, these are well-developed nursery plants providing immediate height, colour and structure, making them ideal for instant gardening and established planting schemes.
This attractive Holly is particularly valued for its distinctive glossy green leaves edged with creamy-white to silvery variegation. The bright foliage provides year-round colour and develops into a strong, architectural evergreen shrub that works equally well as an individual feature or as part of a larger screen or boundary.
At approximately 4–5ft tall, these XL plants offer considerably more immediate presence than smaller young Holly plants. They are ideal for feature planting, evergreen screening, mixed borders, traditional gardens and structural planting, providing valuable year-round interest and privacy.
