Bring beautiful fragrance, year-round greenery and elegant structure to your garden with our Extra Large Osmanthus × burkwoodii Evergreen Shrub, supplied as an impressive 50–60cm tall established specimen in a substantial 7.5 litre nursery pot. Renowned for its wonderfully scented spring flowers, attractive glossy foliage and naturally bushy growth habit, this premium ornamental shrub is perfect for instant gardening and creating a mature, established garden effect.
During spring, Osmanthus burkwoodii produces an abundance of beautiful small, creamy-white flowers, filling the surrounding garden with a wonderfully sweet, jasmine-like fragrance. The delicate blooms appear in attractive clusters amongst the rich evergreen foliage, creating a delightful sensory experience that makes this shrub particularly desirable for planting near patios, seating areas, pathways and garden entrances.
Throughout the rest of the year, this magnificent evergreen maintains its attractive appearance with small, glossy, deep green leaves and a naturally dense, rounded growth habit. Its neat, compact foliage provides excellent structure and year-round interest, making it a wonderful choice for established borders, evergreen planting schemes and attractive low hedging.
Osmanthus burkwoodii is particularly valued for its hardiness, versatility and relatively low-maintenance nature. Thriving in sunny or partially shaded positions, it can be grown as an individual ornamental specimen, planted in groups to create an impressive evergreen display or used to form a beautifully scented informal hedge.
Our Extra Large 50–60cm specimens provide an excellent head start compared with smaller young plants, making them particularly desirable for gardeners and landscapers seeking instant gardening solutions, established evergreen structure and beautiful seasonal fragrance.
