Prunus ‘Snow Showers’ is a beautiful ornamental Weeping Japanese Flowering Cherry, supplied as an impressive XL approximately 5–6ft tall established tree in a substantial 7.5 litre pot. With its graceful cascading branches and spectacular white spring blossom, this elegant tree provides immediate height, structure and ornamental interest, making it an excellent choice for instant gardening and creating a mature garden effect.
‘Snow Showers’ is particularly admired for its magnificent display of pure white single blossom, produced in abundance along the naturally weeping branches during spring. The delicate flowers create a beautiful waterfall of white, giving the appearance of falling snow and making this one of the most attractive compact weeping cherries for ornamental gardens.
Fresh green foliage develops after flowering, creating an attractive cascading canopy throughout summer before turning warm shades of yellow and orange during autumn. Its naturally compact, umbrella-shaped weeping habit makes it particularly suitable for smaller gardens where an impressive ornamental feature is required without the space needed for a large spreading tree.
At approximately 5–6ft tall when supplied, these established nursery trees offer considerably more immediate impact than smaller young trees. They are ideal for lawns, front gardens, borders and Japanese-inspired planting schemes, where their beautiful weeping shape can be appreciated throughout the seasons.
