Taxus ‘Fastigiata Robusta’, commonly known as Column Yew, is a striking upright evergreen conifer, supplied as an XL established plant approximately 50–60cm tall in a substantial 5/7.5 litre pot. With its dense dark green foliage and naturally narrow, column-shaped growth, it is ideal for adding year-round structure and architectural interest to the garden.
Column Yew is particularly valued for its strong upright habit, developing into an elegant vertical feature while remaining considerably narrower than traditional spreading Yew. Its dense, deep green evergreen foliage provides colour and structure throughout the year and responds extremely well to trimming and shaping.
Established in a generous 5/7.5 litre pot, this is a substantial nursery-grown plant offering an excellent head start over smaller young conifers. It is perfect for formal gardens, entrances, pathways, borders and narrow spaces, or plant several at regular intervals to create repeated architectural structure.
