Taxus ‘Standishii’, commonly known as Golden Yew, is a striking upright evergreen conifer, supplied as an XL established plant approximately 50–60cm tall in a substantial 5/7.5 litre pot. With its distinctive golden-yellow foliage and naturally upright growth, it is an excellent choice for adding year-round colour, structure and architectural interest to the garden.
Golden Yew is particularly prized for its bright golden-yellow new growth, which creates a beautiful contrast against the deeper green foliage within the plant. Its naturally compact, upright habit makes it an attractive alternative to traditional green Yew, providing valuable evergreen structure while introducing a warmer splash of colour throughout the year.
Established in a generous 5/7.5 litre pot, this is a substantial nursery-grown plant offering an excellent head start over smaller young conifers. It is perfect for formal gardens, entrances, pathways, borders, feature planting and large containers, or plant several together to create repeated evergreen structure and colour.
